Food For Health & Fitness

Food For Health & Fitness

Whether you’re a 7-day macro junky, leafy green lover or paleo champion, food takes up a lot of our thinking space. We seriously can’t stress how important food is to health – especially your study brain!

In Certificate III in Fitness, we will be able to provide a slight insight into nutrition, however it’s not until you get cracking with the Certificate IV in Fitness will your true nutritional powers be unleashed. We like to think of these as nature’s gift to our course – because food is life!

If you’re wondering how you can apply nutrition to your career goal of a personal trainer, what can and can’t you provide? Where do you go to ask the right questions? And who do you turn too should a client be asking questions you can’t answer on the spot?

We always recommend Nutrition Australia www.nutritionaustralia.org for accredited nutritional advice.

HOT TIP!

One of your assignments while studying is to create a database of people in the health and wellness industry, and one of the first people we would recommend is a qualified Nutritionist.

Don’t be afraid to give these professionals a call and ask questions about clients and how you can offer help.
